te means hand in japanese.  tetote could mean hand to hand or hand in hand.  The concept of tetotelabo is to spend time together, for the most part making something with our hands.

the happiest moments in life for me often involve a handcraft project and people.  Some of my happiest moments have been spent making something with people around: knitting with friends (very often while drinking wine!), weaving at a weaving studio in Tokyo, or spending time at my shibori teacher’s dyeing studio.  I love the way this time passes, it’s always really enriching to see what other people are making, how everyone wants to and can express themselves through their hands and how the result is always unique.
